Black Sheep Tequila is defined by our relentless quality commitment. Old World Style produced in limited quantities using ancestral Open Air (In the Wild) methods, our passion is to honor the original identity of tequila.

Black Sheep Tequila owns and farms over 400 acres of agave, managed by 5th generation agave farmer co-founder Rodolfo. He selects individual plants (“entresaque”) for harvest based on perfect ripeness at 7-10 years old; those that don’t meet his high-quality standards are left in the field.

Directing the process with painstaking attention, our all-natural process, is a rare technique called the "jima” in which the piñas are shaved to fully expose the white flesh and remove the cogollo just before cooking. This significant sacrifice in raw materials results in naturally sweet agave flavors with zero bitterness, a silky texture and a super clean finish.

Results: Our tequilas have been voted Best in the World, including winning Platinum, multiple Double Gold medals in the San Francisco, Singapore, & New York World Spirits Competitions. Also Winning Awards in MLSA, and Consumer's Choice Sip Awards.
